Dr. Monika Kumar graduated in the top 1% of her class from the Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Dentistry. She went on to complete her Fellowship in Oral Implantology at the University of Augusta, Georgia, achieving the highest level of recognition in implant dentistry specialty as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI).
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kumar has placed hundreds of dental implants and implant-supported dentures, restoring confidence and smiles for patients across Frisco and the greater Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Her practice focuses on providing high-quality, affordable, and long-lasting implant solutions using advanced technology and evidence-based techniques.
Dr. Kumar serves as a National Examiner for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD)—recognitions that highlight her dedication to excellence in both clinical practice and education. A lifelong learner, she remains at the forefront of evolving dental technologies and innovations in patient care.
In addition to her expertise in implantology, Dr. Kumar is a Diplomate in Dental Sleep Medicine, specializing in the non-invasive treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) through oral appliance therapy designed to preserve airway function, comfort, and oral integrity.
Beyond her dental credentials, Dr. Kumar also holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of North Texas (UNT) Dallas College of Law, combining her passion for dentistry with a strong commitment to ethical standards and dento-legal excellence.
